To find the mid point,here's the formula:
[tex]( \frac{x1 + x2}{2} . \frac{y1 + y2}{2} )[/tex]

In this case:

((5+1)/2,(5+2)/2)

=(6/2,7/2)

=(3,3.5) or (3,7/2)

Therefore the answer is (3,3.5) or (3,7/2).
