5/8y - 3/8 + 2y....u can add/subtract like terms and ONLY like terms
(5/8y + 2y) - 3/8 =
(5/8y + 16/8y) - 3/8 =
21/8y - 3/8
even though u do not have like terms for -3/8...u cannot forget to include it in ur answer
