(x1,y1)=(2,-5)

(x2,y2)=(6,0)

The midpoint is given by:

[tex]\begin{gathered} xm=\frac{x1+x2}{2} \\ xm=\frac{2+6}{2} \\ xm=\frac{8}{2}=4 \\ ym=\frac{-5+0}{2}=-\frac{5}{2}=-2.5 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Therefore the midpoint is:

M = (4 , -5/2) or M = (4, -2.5)
